Privacy Policy

What this policy covers
This policy explains how MOPA handles information when you use getmopa.com and its installed web app. Use the Contact page to reach the MOPA operator with privacy questions or requests.
Information you provide
MOPA stores your account email, username, password hash, language, timezone and preferences. It also stores records you choose to add, including plans, journal entries, bills, home and vehicle details, photos and documents. Avoid uploading information you do not have permission to share, payment card details, or unnecessary sensitive identifiers.
Account and device security
We process sign-in records, authentication tokens and abuse-prevention data to operate and protect the service. Passkeys store a credential identifier and public key on the server; your device handles biometric verification. MOPA does not receive your fingerprint or Face ID scan. Authorized platform operators may access information when needed for support, security or legal obligations.
Cookies and local storage
Session cookies keep you signed in. Choosing Remember me creates a persistent login cookie. Browser storage and the service worker store app assets and whether you have seen the introduction. These support the app rather than advertising. Signing out, revoking remembered devices or clearing browser data changes this storage; clearing browser data does not delete server records.
Notifications and optional weather
If you enable push, MOPA stores your browser’s push endpoint and subscription keys and sends notifications through your browser or device provider. Notification titles and content may be visible on your lock screen. You can change preferences or revoke permission. Optional weather sends the coordinates you enter to Open-Meteo through our server. MOPA does not automatically obtain GPS location for that feature.
Payments and service providers
PayPal processes MOPA membership payments under its own privacy terms. MOPA receives subscription identifiers, payment amounts, currency, status and related transaction events; it does not store your full PayPal login or card number. Hosting, email delivery and push providers process the information necessary to deliver their services. Records are not public by default. We do not sell your organizer records or use them for targeted advertising.
Contact form and spam protection
When you contact us, we use the name, reply email, subject and message you submit to respond and address your request. Messages are sent to our support inbox and may be retained for support, security and legal needs. Cloudflare Turnstile processes browser and security signals to help prevent automated abuse. Your email and message are not included in our server-side verification request to Cloudflare.
Retention, access and deletion
Your organizer records remain available until you delete them or request account deletion, subject to retention needed for payments, security, disputes or legal obligations. Some workspace actions archive records rather than erase them. Backups and operational logs may retain information after removal from the active app. Contact support to request a copy, correction or deletion of account information; we may verify account ownership. Available rights depend on applicable law.
Security, children and updates
MOPA uses access controls, password hashing and protected file delivery, but no service can guarantee absolute security. The service is not directed to children under 13; contact us if you believe a child has supplied personal information. Providers may process information in other countries. We will update this page when practices change and provide additional notice where required.
